Eclipse Fit is a Wear OS app that shows the time, your heart rate, daily steps, calories burned, the outside temperature and your watch's battery level on a single screen. This policy explains what the app accesses and what happens to it.
Eclipse Fit does not collect, store or transmit your personal or health data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Everything the app reads is displayed on your watch and then discarded.
All of the values above are read live, shown on the watch face and held only in memory while the app is running. Eclipse Fit does not write them to a file, a database, a cloud service or any server operated by the developer. Closing the app discards them. The developer has no way to see your health data.
To show the temperature, the app sends your approximate latitude and longitude to Open-Meteo, a free weather service, and receives the current temperature in return. No identifier, account, device ID or health data is included in that request. Open-Meteo's own privacy statement is available at open-meteo.com/en/terms. This is the only network request the app makes.
Eclipse Fit does not share, sell or rent any data to third parties. There are no advertising networks, analytics SDKs or crash reporting services in the app.
You can revoke any of these in your watch's Settings at any time. A revoked permission simply leaves the matching field on screen empty; the rest of the app keeps working.
Eclipse Fit is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly process their data.
If the app ever starts handling data differently, this page will be updated and the date above changed before the new version is released.
